Parks & Nature

The Vondelpark is Amsterdam's most popular park. There're a lot of good restaurants and cafes; including Blauwe Theehuis, Vondel3, Vondeltuin and the Groot Melkhuis. The Vondelpark is loved by Amsterdammers as well as by tourists, and is full of people - enjoying a sunny day, dog-walking, jogging, roller-skating, listening to music, people-watching, or just lazing about in grass. Free concerts are given at the open-air theatre or in the summer at the park's bandstand. From this apartment it's only a 3 minute walk to Vondelpark.

There's no place like the Albert Cuyp street market to discover Amsterdam’s typical sense of humour and laid back atmosphere. The Albert Cuypmarkt is the largest and most popular outdoor market in the Netherlands, with 260 stands operating six days a week selling everything from Vietnamese spring rolls to freshly made stroopwafels.

Drinks & Nightlife

I LOVE Pllek Amsterdam on the banks of the IJ in North. It’s such a creative hotspot! Pllek Amsterdam is perfect to meet up with friends for drinks or a easy meal. It’s easy to get to Pllek Amsterdam North, just take the free ferry from Amsterdam Central Station to the NDSM wharf and you’re there in 15 minutes. Pllek Amsterdam is made of an old warehouse and shipping containers. Completed with tons of sand, beach chairs and picnic tables it is nice to have a beer in the sun or catch up over coffee. Every Sunday afternoon there’s live music! Also other cool activities like yoga and massages on the beach.

You can do everything over here. Relax, swim, eat, chill, drink or dance. It's really nice during a sunny day to relax over here. But it's also good when there are great parties inside.
