Interesting place to visit and explore the history of the role of Richmond in the Civil War. The setting of the museum on the bank of the James River is delightful; it's a step away from a foot bridge that will take you across the river to a Civil War prisoner-of-war camp and "Rock City" where people bask on large rocks and cool off in the water that's pooled between them.
