This has to be one of the most under-appreciated little spots in the city. I highly recommend visiting and getting the personal touch of the proprietor, who seems to run the place all by herself. Amazingly original Asian Fusion menu. Soups are great, and popular for desserts, but my favorite are the rice bakes with curry and cheese on top, especially the wild mushroom with curry and the beef mix with curry. Enough food for the next day.

Never been here personally, but it's on my list. Guests tell me it's good beer, decent food, easy to get a table last minute. I'm told it's a boisterous place but worth the trip, especially for larger groups.

This is a definitely a Bar. Local's scene with cheap drinks and a bad pool table...in other words, perfect. Nicest dog-loving, Shakespeare-genius bartender I know, not to mention the regulars.

Fantastic, newly-remodeled art museum by Herzog & de Meuron. Friday nights the museum is open for more intimate visits with drinks and music for adults and some kids art activities. Get there by 6pm to climb to the top of the tower.
