So many wineries.....so little time. Always pretty, near the sea, rolling hills and dales, lots of beautiful wines and stunning produce and foods. The Willunga markets on Saturdays are fantastic! And it's just a hop, skip and jump to Victor Harbor.

And of course Adelaide is famous for growing the best roses in the world. We have a beautiful contemporary glass house of tropical plants as well as a 100 year old iron framed structure reminiscent of the Crystal Palace. And amazing and beautiful wetlands which serves the CBD in managing water run off and overflow and supports the local bird and wildlife. An oasis set between city and suburbs. And don't forget Botanic Park on the northern side of the garden. Sweeping lawns studded with enormous 150 year old fig trees with roots and and trunks to climb and lose yourself in. Just beautiful.

Dolphin Cruise on the Port River. Best value in town. Cruising up to the mouth of the river and return past the submarine corporation, all sorts of interesting industrial and sea faring places. And with any luck you'll see some of the Port River dolphins.

Not well known but watch out for some fantastic exhibitions from student to established artists. They had the great Jeffrey Smart retrospective. Fantastic!
