Music Theatre at it's finest. I recently saw their rendition of The Full Monty that got a standing ovation and have heard rumors that Legally Blonde is excellent. They also have a young adult theatre group that presents as well.

WHALES! I have gone twice and seen whales both times. Be sure to check Groupon (they often have deals), or you can call them directly and ask what their groupon deal is and they will give it to you. Also check the time of the year. Humpback and Grey whales migrate at different times and you want to be sure to book a tour during migration season.

I love to do sunrise hikes up the 1.5-mile trail. Views from the top go all the way to the ocean and Mexico. Be careful hiking between May-August. Temps can get into the 90's or higher very early. Bring water.

A great place to see the beautiful Coronado Hotel or just relax in the sun for an afternoon. The white sand beach is littered with sand dollars at the south end (if they're purple, the are still alive, so be careful). plenty of street parking in the neighborhoods and lifeguards are on duty during the day.
