Food Scene

Nearest pizza place and the best pizza in Stockholm. However gross it may sound we Swedes don't care for the Italian way of making pizza: crispy bread and a rich layer of cheese and rich pure flavors of basil tomato and mozzarella. That shit can stay where it come from. Here we do it different: big soggy pizzas with toppings that would make the Italians faint. Try a real Swedish kebab pizza or search the menu for something else. We've got it all: banana-curry-peanuts, texmex minced meat-peperoni-tomatoes, oxen filés. You name it.

Swedish fastfood at it's best. Nothing beats the french fries you get at Max, doesn't matter if you try them drunk or sober. Best item on the menue: a frisco meal (burger+fries+drink+dip) a must when you choose your dip: bearnaise.

One of the most iconic silhouettes at the Stockholm skyline, all though not visible from everywhere. The great big globe is an arena and a consert hall and everything all in one. If you aren't afraid of heights you can take a ride in a little glas bulb crawling it's way on the fasade all the way to the top.

The closest peninsuela with an autentic small town summer feel to it. Take a stroll, buy some ice cream and maybe visit the fortress. Tip: If you decide to go out to the archipelago, all boats passes Vaxholm and instead of taking the boat all the way back to Strömkajen, get off here and take a look around. Vaxholm offers great food and mindblowing views. To get back downtown just take the bus to Danderyds sjukhus (red line) and then the subway from there.

Skansen is a mix of a zoo and an out door museum. Founded in the late 1800s, old houses were moved from all over Sweden so that the Stockholmers and the people of Sweden would unite and find a collective identity. Today the houses still stand and the area have given room for animals as well (mainly scandinavian animals however) and is a place for families. Starting in July there is a big sing along, which is being broadcasted, every Tuesday.
