Another spot within walking distance is the New Potato, a startup bar that has a great outdoor space, good drinks, and interesting people. This is a good place to bring a few friends for some drinks. It's small, but adventurous. They also do whole pig barbeques and other events on occasion. The owner hails from Ireland and is committed to building a classic pub scene where everyone is welcome.
