Ersfjorden is a fjord on Kvaløya. The fjord is encircled on both sides of high mountains that plunge right in the fjord. The Ersfjord is separated from the Kaldfjord with a narrow property, only 800 meters wide and about 45 meters high. At this property there are wonderful conditions for observing the northern lights. This tour is suitable for those who rented a rental car.

Ersfjorden is a fjord on Kvaløya. The fjord is encircled on both sides of high mountains that plunge right in the fjord. The Ersfjord is separated from the Kaldfjord with a narrow property, only 800 meters wide and about 45 meters high. At this property there are wonderful conditions for observing the northern lights. This tour is suitable for those who rented a rental car.
At the end of the road Fv 58 you will reach Bellvik ferry port. The ferry travels on the route Bellvik-Vengsøy 3 times a day on a daily basis. If you leave your car in the parking space at the ferry port you can travel back and forth with the ferry without paying anything! If you are lucky you can see killer whales and humpback whales. This tour is suitable for those who rented a rental car. Highly recommended

I recommend the operator Arctic Adventure Center for all kind of nature-based tours and activities in Tromsø. Sometimes they have driven my guest home after the northern lights safari.

After the film visitors are taken along the "Arctic Walkway" where you through films and installations can see and learn how the ice is melting in the Arctic, how it affects the nature and the animals living there, and how researchers work in these areas.
