To reach the Miyajima-Guchi ferry port from Hiroshima Station, take the JR Sanyo Line to Miyajimaguchi Station (about30min, covered by the Japan Rail Pass).
Then please take the JR ferry.(covered by the Japan Rail Pass)(about5min). Do not take Daimatsukisen ferry, it costs 180yen!.
Alternatively, you can take tram line number 2 from central Hiroshima bound for Miyajimaguchi. The tram is slower, but costs only 260 yen one way (not covered by the Japan Rail Pass).
Then Please take the ferry.(about5min)
