My favorite Marché. All along rue d'Aligre, and look for the covered marché on place d'aligre for fine charcuteries, poissonneries, cheese, etc.. Small flea market during week ends on the square.

Great bar. great street. Rue de cotte has many bars and restaurant. The crowd pours on the street in warm evenings, just like rue de Lappe (although less touristy and more typical in my opinion).

Bars just touch each other in rue de Lappe and it is hard to manage your way in the crowd on the the street on week end evenings. Mégalo Bar, Le Bar Sans Nom, just to name a few of them....
