Well worth a visit if you want to take a day trip. Best on a weekend as the kiosk is open with yummy home made goodies for lunch or morning/afternoon tea. Take the walk down to the bottom if you're fit. We've done it with young children but some might not choose to do that. There are some great vantage points from the top to see the falls too.

Take the walk down to the bottom if you're fit. We've done it with young children but some might not choose to do that. There are some great vantage points from the top to see the falls too.
A good family beach which is patrolled. There's also a 50 meter pool by the beach. There are some rock pools you can walk around the rocks to. It is quite a walk and should only be done at low tide. Ask a local for directions once you're there.

We love Crowdy Head national park. It's about a 50 minute drive from here. We tend to go there if we camp at Diamond Head. There is a lovely beach and great walks on marked walking tracks. There's an office at Diamond head camp ground with more information.

A great place to take a hike and enjoy the cool waters and rain forest of Dingo Tops National Park. It's quite a long drive on dirt road.
