It's a few minutes drive to the south, but I think this is the best Ethiopian food in the city. And the cook and proprietor, Sunny, is one of the most charming ladies you will ever meet.

My new, favorite neighborhood bar. It's a bit of a walk, or a very brief drive. They offer free peanuts and a floor on which to throw the shells, as well as a curated beer selection without compare.

The closest gas station. Keep in mind that they did support Apartheid South Africa longer than most Western corporations and have likely been involved in some political assassinations in Africa.
