If you like the smelll of grilled meat and fish from the barbecue you will love Julius Bar & Grill Amsterdam. I can highly recommend the spare ribs which are so tender. Yummy!

Pllek Amsterdam is made of an old warehouse and shipping containers. Completed with tons of sand, beach chairs and picnic tables it is nice to have a beer in the sun. Every Sunday they have live music

Little Collins Amsterdam is one of my favourite brunch hotspots. Every Thursday and Friday they serve a great shared dining menu with international flavours. Tip: Korean style beef tartar with nori.

Club Canvas is located on the rooftop of the Volkshotel. Until 11 pm this cool rooftop club is a restaurant & bar. After 11 pm the tables are put aside and the DJ takes over the booth.

Disco Dolly is the ‘new’ place in town where you can go dancing all days of the week. Perfect for students! Since the whole place is covered with Persian rugs, the interior is really cool and dark.
