Kona Grill offers contemporary American dining, award-winning sushi, and handcrafted cocktails. Yes, I took that snip-it from the website and yes, I highly recommend. Great sushi with a fun late night crowd.

Topsey's is famous for their homemade gourmet cinnamon popcorn. It's so famous, it's traditionally shipped across the US. In fact, it's the only place I know of that makes this particular flavor of cinnamon popcorn.
Little known fact: Topsey's is the oldest merchant still operating on the plaza.

It's the plaza sports bar every local enjoys. Great late night menu till 2am and it's not your typical bar food. The menu is reasonably priced and well prepared. I highly recommend the burnt end nachos.

This place has an amazing rooftop patio that overlooks the Westport area. Great place to socialize or watch the game.

Museum of fine arts. I recommend checking out their website for some of the best traveling exhibit schedules. An upscale restaurant inside with live jazz and such on certain nights.
They also have a pretty romantic outdoor sculpture exhibit that is free to all with a large picnic area where many come to enjoy the day. In fact, each year Kansas Citians come together to break last years record of the worlds largest picnic.

Probably one of our more famous parks in Kansas City. When in bloom, the rose garden is a sight to see. Spray park, a small lake to walk around, playground equipment, spray park, picnic areas and running trails.

Dating back to the 1800's, Wesptort is our oldest town in Kansas City. Once a city market, now a shopping and entertainment district. Some of our best breweries, like McCoys are located here. With a large patio, it's a great place to soak in the history and take in the scenery.
