If you’re not from around here, you may have never been to a Stewart’s. Stop what you’re doing an go right now. It may just look like a gas station but they have the best ice cream you can find anywhere. It’s also a 3 minute walk from this house.

In the summer you can rent boats, go fishing, have a day of drinking on a bay, camp on an island and more!
In winter you can enjoy the ice bar, go ice fishing, ice skating or just enjoy a nice stroll on the frozen lake.
Either way, it’s gorgeous. Go see why it’s one of the top rated lakes in the country.

Upscale, more private tourism town on the lake. My husband and I both work there when we are here. They have restaurants, gift shops, antique stores, hiking, spas. Lots to see for sure.

Saratoga is the furthest away that we’ll recommend but it’s worth the 30 minute drive. It’s very pretty and there is so much to do.
