One of the best options for eat in dining in Launceston, the Eagle house has it’s own gin distillery. A nice terrace area to look out over Launceston and the castle on a sunny day.

It's got loads of choice (fruit, veg, butchers, bakery etc), loads of homemade cakes and treats and will have everything you need. Click and collect is available too. They also hold various events and activities across the year, such as strawberry picking, live music, lavender picking etc. They also have a café.

Launceston, located less than 10 minutes from the hayloft is an historic market town. It was once the capital of Cornwall, and has a Norman Castle at the centre which you can visit.
Launceston is well known for the independent shops lining its narrow streets and town square. There are award winning local food producers, shops selling unique crafts and gifts plus there are regular markets to browse.

The Cornish north coast beaches of Crackington Haven and Widemouth are just a 35 minute drive from the Hayloft. We have not listed them all, but it's well worth exploring the beautiful coastline along with south west coastal path, take a dip, try out surfing or paddle boarding.
