Puerto Morelos is a magical small fishing village located 15 minutes away from the Cancun airport and 30 minutes away from Cancun and Playa Del Carmen. It is a quiet and relaxing town, but you can also do many activities like: visit the leaning lighthouse, the National Reef Park, Ruta de Los Cenotes, adventure parks and many restaurants offering delicious food.

Our favorite lunch/dinner places
El Merkadito is located on the Port side of Puerto Morelos. This is one of our favorite places to eat. It has great seafood with a breathtaking beach view and great service. Heads up, it is a very popular place, so there may be a wait time to get seated.

We love El Pirata on Friday or Saturday nights! Our go to dish is the Paella which comes with a complimentary Sangria drink. Amazing!

Our favorite breakfast places
El Nicho is located on the port side of Puerto Morelos. This is where we go for breakfast/brunch. I love their eggs benedict, cappuccino coffee and their pastries are delightful! My husband prefers their amazing waffles topped with fresh fruit!
