RESERVATION REQUIRED! The Alhambra is a palace and fortress complex located in Granada, Andalusia. It was originally constructed as a small fortress in AD 889 on the remains of Roman fortifications, and then largely ignored until its ruins were renovated and rebuilt in the mid-13th century by the Nasrid emir Mohammed ben Al-Ahmar of the Emirate of Granada, who built its current palace and walls. Estepona has the most stunning beaches of the area. Along the coast are lots of little coves with beautiful, sandy, clean beaches and chiringuiitos (beach bars) scattered every few hundred metres, and here you can sample some of the best and freshest caught fish and seafood.
The old town of Estepona is pretty and is worth a visit with small winding streets filled with lots of little shops, cafes and restaurants where the daily menu is served.
Estepona also has a small leisure port whith lots of bars and restaurants being worth visited.

The newly rebuilt El Velerin chiringuito, west of LGP, opened at Easter 23.

The former Heaven Beach chiringuito, east of LGP, that burnt down several years ago, is being rebuilt in wood on the beach just past the Ikos Hotel.
The chiringuito formerly known as Crusoes, west of LGP near Laguna Village, has been rebuilt in wood and it opened just after Easter 2023. It is now called Besos.
