A short walk (or drive away) is an old incinerator which has been converted into a cafe / restaurant. It has indoor and outdoor space and is very child and grown up friendly.
If you walk around / behind the cafe there is some bushland, walking tracks and bike tracks to explore.
This can get very busy on a Saturday morning when sports are held.
Check if they are open for dinner (usually summer only), they have a great kitchen.

On your way to Artarmon train station, you will find Wilkes. They are a friendly bunch to everyone, so you will feel like a local. They have some great milkshakes - a lovely spot for Breakfast.

This is your well rounded local shopping centre. We prefer is as it is less busy than the larger Westfield up the road.

Within a 5 minute walk is a local yoga studio where you would feel welcome even for a few classes. We have yoga mats around the house if you needed one.

A cosy and beautiful beach. Everyone always seems a little happier here.
There aren't too many busses which go there which keeps it as a secret spot. The 257 bus which leaves from our local bus stop will take you there.
