Food Scene

Great old-fashioned diner for breakfast on the corner of our block. It's not the best food, but it's worth a visit for the old time feel. The french toast is probably the best breakfast option.

Americana central. If you want to go to the tackiest cartoon diner then this is it. The food is actually pretty good, if you like burgers, pancakes etc.

Free outdoor swimming! Open July-September only. During the day it's pretty mobbed by kids, but they do morning lane swimming 7 to 8.30am and 7 to 8.30 pm which is quiet, relaxing and beautiful.
