Flattop is a very popular place for hiking (most climbed mountain in the state of Alaska). Located on the south side of town, it's a relatively easy and short hike up to the top, where you can have some pretty incredible views.

A little under an hour outside of Anchorage, the Wildlife Conservation Center is an amazing spot for seeing wildlife. Many animals are rehabilitated here, and there is so much space for them to roam. It's a wonderful place.
