Lubec, Maine is a beautiful coastal town and a place in transition. Formerly hailed as the "Sardine Capital of the US," Lubec is still a working fishing village (now mostly lobster). The town also supports a growing tourism sector for vacationers in search of the classic look of the old-time Maine experience.
