First come - First served locally adored Taiwanese spot. They are listed in the Michelin Guide and are serving delicious lunch and dinner in their location of the pedestrian plaza, Sunset Triangle. Try their vegetarian options or go for a beef roll and noodle soup! You won't be disappointed!

As the theinfatuation.com says: "It’s easy to make fun of Silver Lake. There are more doulas here than anywhere else in the country, and if you wanted to buy a homemade quilt woven with rare goat hair, we suspect there’s no place better place to get it. And while it seems like every great restaurant in the past 12 months has opened in this part of town, Botanica is absolute peak Silver Lake." We couldn't agree more! but don't dismiss the place, the food is fresh and the coffee delicious! You should take the Steps down and go to Botanica, before your stroll around the reservoir!

Tartine Bakery! If you are looking for sourdough bread and the famous avocado toast, look no further. They have everything - even pizza! A good spot to pick up some bread on the morning walk!

Our favorite place to spend our weekday evenings with friends! They got jazz music, the best French food, great vine, and even a hidden patio where you can relax, get a cocktail and smoke a cigarette. A true gem and definitely worth a visit, if you want to grab something to eat locally!

Sightseeing

A cute area for walking, running, or bicycling. You can bring a blanket and a book and lay in the park on the other side of the reservoir. We usually take a run around the reservoir somewhere between 5-8pm when the weather has cooled off, it's a great way to get in some miles after spending time in traffic! If you look closely you can find some Neutra houses and other midcentury houses on the walk!

Shops!

Go and visit Suay Sew Shop - not only do they fight for fair labor and wages, but they also do everything in their power to reuse and reduce by sewing items out of dead stock! They usually throw some fun events on the weekend, where you can come by and grab some local food, listen to music and be a part of the community dye bath, where people drop off their clothes and old towels just to get them back in sparkling new colors! It's local and unique + you can take a walk at the LA River and visit some cafes on the way!
