The Dandenong Creek Trail is an 8 kilometre shared path for cyclists and pedestrians.
The trail runs from Wantirna Road to Chandlers Lane and has interpretive signs, seating and shelter along the trail.
When you reach the Doveton part, you'll discover the home of a 40,000-strong bat colony. Fascinating to see both day and night.

Dandenong Creek TrailThe Dandenong Creek Trail is an 8 kilometre shared path for cyclists and pedestrians.
The trail runs from Wantirna Road to Chandlers Lane and has interpretive signs, seating and shelter along the trail.
When you reach the Doveton part, you'll discover the home of a 40,000-strong bat colony. Fascinating to see both day and night.
Lysterfield Lake is the perfect place to explore nature. Spot kangaroos while walking or jogging the 6km Lake Circuit Trail, ride 24km of mountain bike trails or relax at the lakeside picnic areas.The lake is managed as a nature reserve with passive recreation. The eastern side of the lake is a recreation area for picnics, bbq's and canoe launching. Two constructed beaches at the south-eastern end of the lake are designated swimming areas. The two curved bays are around 150 m long and the sand stretches back about 15 m from the shore. A number of well-kept nature trails wind through tea-tree forests inhabited by lively native bird species.
