A little more than an hours drive and you are in the capital of Piemonte, Italy's 4th largest city with plenty of shopping, outlets, café's, restaurants, historical monuments or the beautiful, green parc areas next to the University.
Football, FC Torin & the more famous Juventus is playing here. If you want, I can arrange tickets for you at a surcharge for a Seria A match

I used to live in Lucca Tuscany, I can only say amazing city... Walk, run or relax on the 4.5 km long city wall, that surround the beautiful old City of Lucca :)
Don't forget that Puccini is from Lucca, so you may be able to find some church concerts, while you're there.
For bike riders, this is one of the best and most famous road bike places in the world and many, many famous bike riders have lived here - try and ride up Piccollo Pantaini, with an increase of approx 7.5% to the total height of 1050 meters.

Wonderful City, not only in November/December when the world famous truffle festival takes place, but all year around it's def worth a visit.
25 km or 1 hour on bike and you're there - Enjoy a delicious glass of Barbera d'Alba in one of the many wine bars or just stroll around the old city :)

King of Wines or Wine of Kings - If you never heard about it, now is time. The small village is only 12 km from Dogliani and perfect for a bike ride or just a walk, be prepared for hilly terrain, but also amazing views :)
Once there, not much to see besides the castle or perhaps the museum. Instead you may just breathe in and enjoy the magnificent views of the surrounding wine fields, while sipping a glass of Barolo and enjoying a pizza, Risotto or an espresso doppi :)
