PEI prides itself on a very stringent waste management system, as they rely on off-island disposal sites. Please help us keep this island clean. COMPOST Organic / food scraps include things like paper towel, single layer cardboard (like cereal boxes) These items can be placed in the small green compost container in your kitchen, and then transferred to the large Green container located behind the Cottage 1 garage.

RECYCLABLES Plastic, Metal, and Glass. Please rinse out containers and place them in the blue recycle box provided outside your door. The items can be sorted into category-specific bins located in the grey garden shed. PAPER: Includes newspaper, paper bags, magazines, etc. Also placed in the blue recycling box provided CARDBOARD: All corrugated cardboard can be placed in the garden shed. RETURNABLE: Bottles and cans with a deposit can be placed in your blue recycle box, or directly into the Returnable bin in the garden shed. WASTE: Goes into the black container next to the garden shed.

KITCHENS & BBQ Our kitchens are fully stocked with dishes and cooking utensils, cooking oil, salt & pepper and basic spices. Each cottage has a propane BBQ. Extra tanks are located in the beige recycling shed. LAUNDRY & CLEANING Laundry facilities are provided as well as laundry detergent. Cottage 1&2 has access to the laundry room located on the east side of Cottage 2, through the white door. The 3 & 4 bdrm cottages have their own laundry rooms located in the cottage. General cleaning supplies are also provided for you to maintain the cottage during your stay.

The cottages are equipped with smart TV’s with access to Netflix.

WATER Our drinking water is of great quality, drawn from a well on the property. SEPTIC Waste water management consists of a septic system. We, therefore, ask you to send nothing more than human waste, toilet paper, and “dirty” water down the drains.

PETS Pets are not to be left alone in the cottages unless they are crated. Please clean up after your pets. There is a hose located on the side of the Summer House and at the back of The Ranch in the parking area, please use this to clean your pets.
