In Tirana it is not suggested to drink tape water. And if you want to save some money it is better to exchange euros in lek (Albanian lek) since the exchange rate in shops or restaurants is lower. If you get a taxi ask always the taxi driver to turn on the taxi meter in order to pay the relevant amount of money.
