From Airport or Railway Station is best to book a Prepaid Cab.
Depending on purpose of visit time at hand and love for new experiences you can take Metro, Cabs, Tuk-Tuks (Auto Rikshaw) and Cycle Rickshaw. When on tourist or official trip , best is to book a cab for 4 or 8 hrs or more .Cycle Rikshaw is recommended when leisurely visiting narrow lanes of Chowk, Aminabad etc home to legendry Chikan work, Zardory and some best local Awadhi cuisine. Reliable Cabs can be booked with established travel agents close by or by Ola and Meru. City walk tours are available which gives glimpse of old city.
