Centennial Park has a sandy beach with a boardwalk that stretches 400 metres on the shores of Lake Simcoe. This park is kid-friendly with it's jungle gym and playground, grassy area for picnics, and trees if you're looking for shade. Seasonal lifeguards are present on the beachin the summer from 11:30AM - 5:30PM. Also offers beach volleyball and outdoor skating. There are three parking lots off of Lakeshore Drive that allow users to access the beach. The middle lot has, by far, the most spaces.

Ideal for trekking in the spring, summer and fall, this well-maintained path traverses along Hewitt’s Creek and visitors will be treated to pretty water and forest views throughout the walk. The meandering trail ends at Wilkins Beach, a secluded sandy stretch that’s a perfect spot for a picnic (weather permitting), watch the sunset, or even take a refreshing dip in the water if you’re feeling brave. The Wilkins Walk path also connects with Bayshore Ridge parkland trails that run through the Tyndale neighbourhood.
