A nice place to walk at nights also. Don't miss the Marquesitas (a kind of crepe but hard and full of yucatecan queso de Bola cheese that can be filled with sweets like Nutella, cajeta-milk candy, or fruits... I love them!!!)
Also you may find at evenings a eliote or esquite corn street food. Open to the Mexican experience with some mayonnaise, cheese, lemon and chile!!!

This is an archeological site very close the condo, you can also walk like 20 minutes or drive 3 minutes to get there!!
It's a quiet calm place, small but cozy to look at the pyramid and other Mayan buildings. That's the ancient verson of Puerto Juarez, where mayas set to go to Isla Mujeres. It's a fast visit!!

Km 230 Cancun - ChetumalIf you like archeological zones this is a must visit. The only place where you can see the Mayan buildings just by the see. They even let you swim in the ocean and watch the pyramids from the water!! Spectacularview you can't miss!!!
A wonderfu lplace to enjoy an open cenote in armony with natural. The water is very cold so is very refreshing after a Caribbean day out.

An amazing archeological zone!! The pyramid is spectacular in a jungle atmosphere. Its a good visit maybe the same day you visit Tulum. First going to Cobá, then having a stop in a cenote and then ending in Tulum and swimming in the ocean.

Coba archaeological siteAn amazing archeological zone!! The pyramid is spectacular in a jungle atmosphere. Its a good visit maybe the same day you visit Tulum. First going to Cobá, then having a stop in a cenote and then ending in Tulum and swimming in the ocean.

The El Castillo pyramid is really spectacular, and all the buildings, ball game zone, observatory, and such a big city of mystery and culture waiting for you to enjoy. You can go there and visit a cenote afterwards to get refreshed.
This is a wonderful paradisiac place, not very crowded where you can enjoy not only swimming in a natural open cave with a fountain, but also enjoy other cultural activities they have in the park. I suggest visit this place after going to Chichen Itza or Ek Balam to get refreshed!!!

This is a big and remarkable arquaeological zone that is close to Valladolid city. Just 2 and a half hours driving from the condo. It'snot very popular so it's a hidden secret in te jungle you may discover.
It's enormous pyramid has some special statues that are very uncommon in the area. Some human figures that some people say seem like hindi-like, or even with a pir of wings, so some people say they are such as angels.
There is also a statue of a very big open mouth snake as an entrance. Definitely you haven't seen something like that.
If you have already gone to Chichen Itza the most popular Mayan zone, and want to visit some more, or want some special experience, you must visit this place.
You can visit the Cenote Xcan Ché that is very close to refresh yourself afterwards. Or also you can go to other cenotes close to Valladolid.
I suggest also visit Valladolid Town, after.

You can ask for some authentic yucatecan food such as tacos de cochinita pibil, papadzules, panuchos, or in the central park sit in a "Tu y yo" tradicional front to front white bench and eat some MarquesIta or corn esquite.
Also you can go early to visit the 16th century convent with some murals from that time, the church and a cenote Zazil that is just in a downtown block!!!
You'll love yucatecan atmosphere!!!

I like guacamole with chapulines, and pan the cazon, but also the ceviches and shrimps with mango are wonderful!!!
