An eight minute drive from the cottage, downtown Sebastopol has restaurants, bars, a cinema and Sunday farmers' market, as well as supermarkets and grocery stores for all your shopping needs. Alternatively, take a 30 minute scenic bike ride to town via the West County and Joe Rodota trail.

Head through the town of Bodega on your way home for a cold beer and oysters at Casino, the local pub.

Try the galettes at Freestone Artisan Cheese, and pick up some fresh local produce via the honor system at Worker Bee Farm.
