Getting around from the house
Honestly, downtown and Stadium are pretty easy walks as long as your group doesn't have mobility issues. Both are no more then a 20 minute ir so walk.
Otherwise I highly recommend using the many Ubers and Lyfts in town if you are going for a fun night out. Parking and driving downtown with the plethora of drunk college kids can be hectic. I prefer to leave it to the professionals!

What to pack
Your favorite Penn State apparel, of course! Otherwise watch the weather. It can get really cold here. Bring layers and even if you think you don't need it, hat. gloves and scarves may make your game more enjoyable.
A poncho or rain coat is a must for you die hards who won't let a little rain deter you!
