Make sure you bring correct foot wear for walking
The weather can change in minutes down the Hope Valley. Make sure you pack sensible walking boots and clothing for all events and seasons.

Be advised you will have to pr book a taxi well in advance . The number for Penny's Cars is 07917 710771 or the walk can take around 25 minutes .

Eating out
Castleton has 6 pubs , 1 bar and a restaurant (1530) . We highly recommend that you book tables before you arrive as the village is very busy especially at weekends . The George inn do takeaway pizza etc and the Fish and chip shop is open on a weekend.
