There are numerous hiking trails to choose from, depending on your level of skill, intensity or, maybe, you would just like a nice walk in nature. Mount Lafayette is a perfect NH mountain. It is a wonderful challenge if you have the stamina to hike up to its 5,249 foot summit and traverse across "The Ridge". Or perhaps, you want a romantic walk along well groomed trails which lead to astounding waterfalls. Don't be fooled by the first one you come to.... keep going, it gets better! It is a great place for a picnic.

Northfiled, NH
Northfield is a central hub to so many interesting activities and points of interest. The Merrimack River Trail, Highland Bike Park, Boondoxz Pub, Park Street Pub, a skate park and The American Legion. New England's first Whitewater Park is scheduled to open this summer in neighboring Franklin. The whitewater will have options for paddling Class II, III and IV whitewater.
Tilton, which in walking distance, has numerous fabulous restaurants, shops, and historic sites.
