The bicycle thief is one of my favourite places to eat. Inside and outside seating with a patio overlooking the Halifax Harbour. Try their mussels in a tomato sauce - you won't regret it!! I suggest making a reservation as it's a happening spot.

The 5 Fishermen Restaurant is housed in a building that was originally constructed as a schoolhouse in 1817. Across the street is St Paul’s Anglican Church, the oldest building in Halifax, built in 1750, the year after Halifax was founded.
4.5 star rating. $$$.
I recommend making a reservation. The ground level host an upbeat bar called social 5 with a cocktail menu and finger foods.

My all time favourite Nova Scotia restaurant. Be aware it is a one hour drive away... but if you plan on a scenic drive make this a stop along the way. Very quaint, super Nova Scotian, and THE BEST seafood.
