A Beautiful lake in Pine Mountain Club, fed by a mountain stream year round. Picnic tables are available, you can bring a folding chair and have a picnic, or take a walk, or do some catch and release fishing, no fishing license needed. The lake is open from 8:00a.m. to dusk.

This is a nice place to take kids, with a playground, BBQ area, and a lot of grass. There is also a climbing rock wall.

Waterfall Trailhead is within walking distance of the Mountain Retreat cabin. It is a nice trail, not too difficult and has beautiful scenery.

This short hike is very pretty any time of year, but it is particularly delightful in early spring when there is still a little snow in the white firs and Jeffrey pines. Many deformed trees can be seen along this winding path, and the lively stream adds to the music of the forest.
From either Woodland Drive or Freeman Drive, take Bernina Drive to the very top and park in the cul-de-sac. Follow the trail along the creek. Eventually, the trail crosses the creek under a very large, strangely shaped pine tree. The trail peters out after 1/2 mile or so and you will want to turn back, but the view up the side of Mt. Pinos is lovely and the natural beauty of the area makes the return hike worthwhile.

Where to take trash
There is no trash pickup
In Pine Mountain Club, therefore residents and guests must take their trash to the transfer station upon departure, as there is much wildlife in the area and we need to keep them
Wild. No trash is allowed to be outside at any time.
Directions from cabin:
Turn right on Woodland, left at Mil Potrero highway, right on rctic, them turn right onto Aleutian. The transfer site is at the end of the street
Trash must be bagged and delivered to the transfer site upon departure

Concerts and Movie events
During summer there are several concerts hosted in the golf course. Bring your picnic blanket, lawn chairs and snacks. Beverages and food available for purchase at the clubhouse, right next to golf course
