Food Scene
Fantastic place for pubs and grub. Lovely views and a nice walk through next to thr canal. Round the corner towards Leith, look out for Nobles pub. It does an incredible breakfast. I recommend their eggs benedict.

Walk in nature
This is a lovely walk and if you can find the yacht club, continue walking and you'll find a lovely woodland walk.

Buses are the best way to get around
Our Lothians bus system is one of the best in Europe, it is relatively cheap to use and you can just use your bank card. Parking can be a difficulty and an expense in the centre, so buses take away that stress.

You've probably heard that weather in Scotland is cold and rainy but thats not the full story. Scottish weather is all over the place, one minute it's raining and snowing, the next it is sunny and warm. Bring lots of layers and prepare for anything!

There are many free sites in Edinburgh, the Museum, galleries and Botanics. You can have a free day if you do lots of walking and head to spots like these. Or get the bus which can be cheap. Lothian buses do day tickets and family discounts too!
