The peninsula is located right next to the city center and offers a variety of shorter hikes with great views towards the ocean. The paved little street to the top is uphill and goes along some artist ateliers. The top platforms gives you a fantastic almost 360-overview of the area.

Nice hiking/recreational area close to University. A bit further into the area there is a waffle hut (check opening times, usually only open on Sunday).

Ravnedalen park has a café and park and leads to the Ravnedalen view point and hiking area "Baneheia" with many walking trails. I also connects to Baneheie's lake area, a popular bathing area with good views over the city.
