We are so full from the pizza that we get a dozen to go. Breakfast is wonderful on the back patio with a cup of coffee and these cookies.

Lakeside is right!! This place has beautiful waterside area that is so peaceful. We went at sunset and just marveled at the beauty of the Lake while enjoying a beverage (or two) and an amazing meal.

My favorite shopping store no matter the town I'm in. They have a little bit of everything. Also in this shopping strip is Ross, Target, Petco, Lowes (a great place for my husband as I shop the other stores) ....and many more places to shop. Hungry or thirsty after shopping? Hyvee, Outback and Steak-n-Shake are in the same area. Chili's, Wendy's, McDonald's and many other wonderful grocery stores, fast-food or sit-down restaurants are within minutes.

Sightseeing
I have been to this place many times and it never fails to amaze me with its beautiful ruins, trails, and history. This castle-like feature is what is hanging in my living room at the condo. I highly recommend it. Look it up before you go. The history of this area is very interesting. The parking isn't always close, so wear comfy walking shoes. No charge to enjoy this awesome piece of Lake history.
