The Locke Store is a great place to visit for lunch if you enjoy fresh-made sandwiches, salads, hand pies, and tarts made from scratch with local products. There are other more hearty dishes, too, like the seasonal “Guinness Beef Stew Pot Pie” or the “Sticky Chicken”. They have a fantastic wine selection and typically offer tastings on weekends. Grab lunch and head over to the Burwell-Morgan Mill across the street for a beautiful park-like setting and consider dropping a donation in the box as a thank you to the volunteers who maintain the historic property.
