Well there's something just a little special about this polished but thoughtful hotel, the place to spot some of our local celebs or just to get a bite for breakfast served serenely usually, Turner himself stayed here and the perfect place to relax over a pot of tea and a good book at dawn..although avoid the breakfast its nothing special. The evening basement bar is reminiscent of someplace in NYC...

A strange and blessed gem.
We sat here 7 years ago on a sunny cold winters day and decided to move to Margate. Proper micro pub serving local ales / ciders don’t expect fancy but do expect local vibes. A great view across the water to the the old town and it’s wonderful when the suns out.

Best English breakfasts bar none, homemade and good produce.

If its warm enough for a drink on the terrace, have a snoop inside and dream about when everything was better (it wasn't) but still its nice to dream.....
Dont expect a great drinks selection,,,,, think 19080s pubs, its all about the nostalgia. :-)

The boys ripped the name and idea from Brooklyns legendary namesake venue and thank god they did, not only keeping the local scene alive , they attract names and talent that will be playing in much bigger venues near you in 6 months time... pool table too !
