Home to Alta and Snowbird this canyon is the one we personally call home. Experience some of the steepest terrain Utah has to offer. Get out of the car at the upper parking lot of Alta and take a nice stroll through the Albion Basin. You won't regret it!

Know before you go!
Utah has a lot to offer outdoor enthusiasts. If the outdoors called you here, you probably already know where you're going and how much fun is waiting for you. However, if you're here for other reasons, but have heard how amazing our mountains are and want to see what all the hubbub is about, we recommend downloading the AllTrails app from the App store and finding a trail that suits you. However - please exercise caution and respect for Utah's wilderness. Know your skill level and limitations. Do your homework and be prepared. If you would like recommendations, please contact us directly.

One of our favorite things about Utah is the open road and the incredible vistas you get from behind the seat of your car. We've included several of our favorite scenic drives in the guide book to get you started. Please note that road conditions change drastically with weather in our mountains and several roads are only open during the spring to fall seasons. Please download and check the UDOT app from the App store before proceeding with any drives through the mountains during the winter season.
