Walnut Mountain Park is a 265 acre park located in Liberty, New York. Just under 30 minutes from Callicoon and the scenic Delaware River, Walnut Mountain is the second highest mountain in Sullivan County.
There are approximately 13 miles of hiking and mountain biking trails winding throughout the park, which are considered some of the best in the area.
At the base of the mountain the park has been developed with picnic areas, a baseball field, soccer field, playground, and a pavilion.
