I recommend Da Tullio because of its quality cooking, friendly atmosphere and good value for money. Slightly upper market but a good meal would be less than 30 euro I think.

Nevegal is about 40 mins' drive and offers fine skiing. Don't be put off by the low prices: I have snowboarded in Cortina for years but I love Nevegal for its value for money, cool atmosphere ..

This is a pass, with a road built by the Italian troops during WW1 in record time. It's so steep that there are tunnel switchbacks and traffic lights. It's worth the trip, and is only 15 minutes' away

I recommend this camp site for its wonderful setting and services. You can park cheaply, enjoy swimming in the lake and then the restaurant and shop of the camp-site.
