Outdoors Food Market from 10-4pm on Sunday only - worth combining with a scenic stroll along the Water of Leith from Canonmills to explore Stockbridge, Dean Village (continuing onwards to the Scottish Gallery of Modern Art if you are feeling energetic! There's a free bus service connecting the Gallery with the other city centre galleries (such as the Portrait Gallery on York Place) so you don't have to retrace your steps!

There are great but expensive seafood restaurants in central Edinburgh, but for good value and top quality I recommend venturing out of the city centre to Newhaven pier. If you don't fancy travelling, they do home delivery
