Used to be called Multiple Organics which I think was a great name but the name has changed. It still carries organic almost everything! It's a good place to stock up on chips and things if you are planning a restful evening at home watching movies.

Lots of machines, person on site will wash and fold your laundry if you want. It is clean. I haven't been there since the new owner took over but chatted with him on the street and he seems like a good guy. Bonus it is 2 doors away from the Common (mmm...coffee)

It isn't a grocery store. It is an organic farmer's market. The farmers themselves bring loads of fresh reasonably priced organic produce in every Thursday from 3 - 7 . On Friday you can go for a full dinner, Summer time it is outside but in the rink house in the winter. If you like Greek style yoghurt , fresh eggs, feta cheese or olives be certain to go early to the Greek guy (he believes for yoghurt to be called Greek yoghurt it needs to be made in Greece. That's why he calls it Greek style. It is beyond belief wonderful!) There are prepared foods as well and I often take a container to bring home soups and stews for later. Choc o Sol is there. They are one of the few ethical chocolatiers in the world. The fish sandwich guy is there too every week with fabulous fish sandwiches, drinks from the Caribbean and if you are lucky you can get a hemp ball. For gluten free foods you can go to De-Flowered for cakes and pastries. Breads (wheat etc) are baked in the outdoor clay oven and are marvelous. It's all good!

Very large, very beautiful City park. complete with a zoo and the Grenadier Restaurant. There's a lagoon, Great during cherry blossom season where gifts of trees from Japan are in full bloom! Bring your cameras. Lots of jogging or biking paths
