This is a gorgeous place to get away from the touristic beach clubs of Tulum. If you are lucky, you are completely alone on this beautiful natural beach with more than 1 kilometer of length. There are some tables and chairs on the beach and in the building there is a nice little restaurant. To get there you have to get into the natural reserve and if you tell the guard at the entrance that you just want to go there, you may not have to pay for admission.
Camping EL ULTIMO MAYA
This is a gorgeous place to get away from the touristic beach clubs of Tulum. If you are lucky, you are completely alone on this beautiful natural beach with more than 1 kilometer of length. Drive down the road into the natural reserve. On the left side of the street you see after about 3 kilometers MI AMANTE MAYA. Ask for Romy. You can make a reservation with him. Call nine eight four eight seven six three three eight five.

Not more than 45 minutes by car from Tulum are the widespread and not fully excavated Maya ruins of Cobá. You can rent a bicycle to see the various ruins distributed in the jungle. It is worth the trip.
On the way there, do not miss to visit the Azulik SFER IK installation next to Uh May.

A breath taking modern art installation in the middle of the jungle. This was for us the most beautiful visit. You can stay in there for hours and meditate. Entrance Fee 20 USD (2021).
The attached restaurant is one of the most beautiful ones we have seen. A meal is more than 200 USD.
