Beautiful walk which takes about 1.5 hours from the house. If you fancy a longer walk, you can keep going along the coast path to Putsborough beach and then loop back to Croyde following the signs.

Beautiful sand dunes and a long sandy beach - perfect for walking and allows dogs during the summer. Park in the Saunton Sands car park but get there early in the summer months as it gets full quickly (certainly before 10am)

The Tarka Trail is 180 miles long and the section between Braunton and Meeth provides 30 miles of flat, traffic free cycling. Bikes can be hired from Tarka Trail Cycle Hire in Barnstaple or you can borrow our two adult bikes and access the cycle route from Braunton.
