The Southside Historic Neighborhood is where most of the antebellum homes are. This is the area that is in full bloom for the Annual Pilgrimage (end of March-April) showcasing homes open to the public for period dress, reenactments and a full Southern experience.
It is magical, and a must see! People come from all over the world to see these original homes.

This is a beautiful path along the river in our downtown that winds for about 3 miles through the woods and near the river. You can bike, run or walk.

If you're looking for classes, The Fitness Factor is where to go. Locally owned and well loved.
There is also a Planet Fitness in the Leigh Mall.
The brand new soccer complex has great sidewalks and and outdoor park areas to enjoy.
