Sightseeing
Here are some of my favourite things to do or visit when I'm home and need some sun or adventure.
The Tiger Moth Flights are a must do, if you really want to see Robe.
Robe's iconic red and white Obelisk is a favourite, must visit site for all visitors to Robe. It was constructed in1855 and was used to create a landmark so ships could navigate the entrance into Guichen Bay.
Park at the Old Goal and walk to view the Obelisk.

Longbeach is one of Robe's iconic beaches, where you can safely drive your car onto the sand, unpack the picnic (or BBQ) and settle in for the day. Enjoy the sand, surf and sun. Side note: I've only been "bogged" twice, but the friendly locals are experts in helping you get out of trouble.

Long Beach
Longbeach is one of Robe's iconic beaches, where you can safely drive your car onto the sand, unpack the picnic (or BBQ) and settle in for the day. Enjoy the sand, surf and sun. Side note: I've only been "bogged" twice, but the friendly locals are experts in helping you get out of trouble.
Wear comfortable clothes (shoes especially, I had stilettos on, not good for climbing on the wing to get into your seat) Take your phone or camera, the sights are breath taking. Do the Loop de Loop...it's scary but fun.

Robe's only Live Lobster Exporter. If you are after locally caught seafood, exquisite jams and condiments, sensational local wines then a visit to Sky Seafoods is a must.
The Dock (the latest addition to the Sky Seafood Brand) serves Fish n Chips, generous Lobster platters and delicious Seafood Baskets to name just a few. A licenced venue, a great place for lunch, where they serve you fresh seafood caught that day. One of my favourite places to eat.
If you are looking to buy fresh Lobster (or prawns, scallops, oysters) to take home, Taste with Attitude (at Sky Seafoods) will have what you need. They also supply home made Jams (Onion Jam is sensational) and sweet treats like Peanut Brittle (dangerously addictive)
Margie's Seafood pate (secret family recipe) is also a personal favourite.

Amazing Food, licenced (I can recommend the gin and tonics, champagne.......actually all the alcohol choices). This place is always packed full of customers especially during the Brunch trade. Love the lunch menu, highly recommend.

Great pub, really good pub food, fantastic atmosphere. If you are after a drink and relax after a long day at the beach the Cally is perfect. Live music during peak season out the back at the Beach Cafe is always fun.

The best thing about Mahalia's, well actually everything about Mahalia's is good, but the playground next door makes it perfect to bring the kids along.

JoJo Spook Art
If you get a chance, visit the Karatta Wine Room and Gallery. I love the art work by JoJo Spook. There are a number of her pieces at the Robe Beach Apartment. Love, love, love her sculptures and paintings.
The wine is fantastic too.
